Gallery: Grankraft builds Sheybarah Hotel’s overwater villas for TRSDC
Gavin Davids
Sheybarah Hotel is a hyper luxury resort on Sheybarah Island on the Red Sea archipelago and is part of the Red Sea Project
Grankraft has tied up with the Finnish stainless-steel company Outokumpu for the project, with 88% of its steel coming from recycled materials
The overwater villas are being built to sit above the water’s surface, reducing the ground foundation impact to the minimum and offer panoramic views

Grankraft was awarded the ‘design and build’ contract for the main OSM package, including – but not limited to – structure and cladding
Manufactured to fit into the hotel envisioned by Killa Design, the overwater villas each have a polished stainless-steel cladding that reflects the water, the sky and the reefs below
Grankraft will create more than 70 villas and main public hotel facilities for the Sheybarah Hotel, which aims to have a LEED-Platinum accreditation
