Maysan Properties awards contract for first phase of mixed-use project to Khimji Ramdas

Maysan Properties has awarded a major contract to business conglomerate Khimji Ramdas for the construction of the first phase of Maysan Square. The mixed-use project is taking shape in the Duqm region of Oman.

According to a statement, the contract agreement for Phase One of construction works at Maysan Square was signed by Sadiq Jaffer Sulaiman, CEO of Maysan Properties and Hritik Khimji, director of Khimji Ramdas, last Sunday.

A part of an Integrated Tourism Complex Project (ITC), Maysan Square comprises 20 buildings to be constructed across five phases within Oman’s first Lifestyle Business District located within the Special Economic Zone of Duqm, stated the Omani developer.

A freehold property strategically located in the centre of Duqm, Maysan Square will feature an office complex, residential apartments, a business hotel, entertainment venues and many other facilities that will be constructed in stages as per growing demand, the statement concluded.
