The 450 tonne all terrain crane is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM926LA diesel engine

Ritchie Bros Auctioneers sold a number of high value mobile cranes and equipment in July, including a 2010 Grove GMK7450, which sold at an auction in Caorso, Italy, for $2 million.

The 450t all-terrain crane is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM926LA diesel engine, and had 839 hours on the meter. At the same auction a 2009 Demag AC350-6 all terrain crane was also a big seller, going for nearly $1.5 million. The 350t ATC had 1,877 hours on the meter.

July also featured sales of a number of high value Caterpillar earth-moving equipment through RBA’s auctions, including a 2007 Caterpillar D9T crawler tractor which sold for $345,000, a 2012 Caterpillar 336EL hydraulic excavator which sold for $300,000, and a 2010 Caterpillar 770 rock truck that went under the hammer for $220,000.
