Diyar Al Muharraq completes second phase of sewer network
Development is billed as the largest fully-integrated city in the Kingdom
Diyar Al Muharraq has completed the second phase of a deep gravity sewer network, which will service the Mozoon residential project, Era Homes project, as well as the retail and marina promenade at Al Naseem.
According to a statement, the milestone achievement comes in line with Diyar Al Muharraq’s vision of creating a fully-integrated, futuristic master-planned city, which provides its residents and communities with the highest quality of infrastructure, facilities, and services. The step is also part of the firm’s commitment to completing all the necessary infrastructure for the future development of the Northern Islands within masterplan.

By enabling wastewater to be pumped into the treatment plant connected to the local sewage system, Diyar Al Muharraq’s sewage network seamlessly transfers wastewater directly to the ground storage tanks located at the entrance of the city. The system is completely autonomous, and self-functioning, effectively eliminating the need for transportation by tankers thereby lowering the city’s carbon footprint, he added.
