Nominations for the 2021 MEC Awards close in a week
The MEC team has produced video interviews with the last edition’s judges to help companies strengthen their nominations
Just one week remains before nominations for the 2021 Middle East Consultant Awards close, the editorial team has confirmed. The deadline for nominations is 6pm on November 18 and no extensions will be offered.
This year, in a bid to help companies submit strong nominations, the Middle East Consultant team conducted interviews with the previous edition’s judges to highlight what companies and individuals should and shouldn’t do with their submissions.
The short video interviews with Nicky Dobreanu, Suhail Arfath, Craig Garrett, Leanne Henderson and Carolina Fong Guzzy can be seen on the MEConstructionNews.com LinkedIn page (click the names to go through to the videos). The November issue of Middle East Consultant also features shortened interviews with the judges.
Following the close of nominations next week, the Middle East Consultant editorial team will begin the first round of eliminations. The nominations that make it through to the second round will then be sent to the judges who will deliberate over each nomination for a few weeks, and will then convene to create the shortlist and vote on the strongest nominations. The panel of judges will only be announced on the night of the awards and will be professionals from the regional construction sector.
The 2021 Middle East Consultant Awards will take place at the Ritz Carlton JBR in Dubai on January 19, 2022. 25 awards are up for grabs across 23 categories.
