Oman’s Naizwa Charitable Team inaugurates first affordable housing project

Housing unit for limited income families can be built for $77,920 per house

Oman’s Naizwa Charitable Team has inaugurated its first project, codenamed ‘Maskani’, which includes building the first housing unit for limited income families, it has been announced.

According to a report by Oman News Agency, the unit, equipped with the necessary accessories and furniture, is built on a space of 208 square meters, with a cost of $77,920 for each house.

The inauguration ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr. Khalfan Said al-Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, the report added.
