Foundation work for $300m DAMAC Tower completed

Lebanese contractor laid 500 tonnes of steel and 4200m3 of concrete

MAN Enterprises has completed the raft foundations works for DAMAC Tower in Beirut.

MAN Enterprises, the Lebanese construction contractors, have completed the raft foundation works for the $300m DAMAC Tower in Beirut, developers DAMAC announced on Thursday.

According to statistics released by the developer, the completion of the foundation works involved the laying of 500 tonnes of steel and 4200m of concrete.

“This is a major milestone in the construction of DAMAC Tower,” said Ziad El Chaar, managing director of DAMAC Properties.

As a result of a collaboration between DAMAC Properties and Versace Home, the 28-storey building will be the first exclusive Versace Home branded residential tower in the region.

In June 2011, DAMAC also launched the DAMAC Residences with Interiors by Versace Home in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
