Azizi adds new facilities for residents at Riviera development
Riviera will comprise 71 mid-rise buildings and is expected to house 16,000 residences once it is complete
Azizi Developments has announced the addition of several new facilities at its Riviera residential development. The facilities include a 3.2km running and cycling track that winds through the entire community, more than 71 barbecue areas, numerous basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds, as well as plenty of parks and greenery throughout.
According to a statement, last month the developer unveiled a 2.7km-long crystal lagoon covering an area of over 130,026sqm, which will stretch across the entirety of the Riviera community. The lagoon is filled with more than 51.5m gallons of desalinated and clean water that residents can swim in, and is said to be easily accessible via its lagoon walk. The walk features a variety of artisan eateries and boutiques and is expected to be a space where residents can enjoy strolls along the beach-like shores, sunbathe and cool off.
“Riviera is our flagship community – it is our pride and joy, and our biggest yet in Dubai. Thus, with the delivery of homes already beginning in a few months’ time, we want to make sure that this development lives up to – and surpasses – all our stakeholder expectations. We are not here to just construct mere buildings – we are in this to enrich lifestyles for generations to come – a mission that we continuously strive for in the development of Riviera,” said Azizi Developments’ chief development officer Mohamed Ragheb Hussein.
Riviera is billed as a stylish waterfront-lifestyle destination located in the heart of MBR City and is planned to comprise 71 mid-rise buildings with approximately 16,000 residences upon its completion.
Hussein added, “This is truly an exciting surprise announcement for our customers, who were previously unaware that the community would feature such value-adding amenities, and who won’t be charged for them. We are now using Riviera’s public space to its fullest extent by giving it a purpose for recreational and leisurely activities, effectively encouraging residents’ physical and mental wellbeing and fostering a true sense of belonging. In turn, investor ROIs are enhanced, customers’ expectations are surpassed, and their satisfaction reaches new heights.”
