Temporary structures specialist Losberger De Boer has appointed Francis Scholten as its new managing director of its Rental Projects Division, one of the four divisions within the Group.
Scholten started as account manager International Projects in 1999, and has subsequently gained extensive experience in the event rental business with high profile international projects such as the Asian Games, Olympic Games, Volvo Ocean Race and UEFA Championships.
Since 2019, she has overseen the Middle East region, with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar added to her global responsibilities.
Despite the major impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Francis successfully managed a broad variety of important projects, said Losberger De Boer, including the construction of Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia and projects supporting healthcare institutions with additional capacity such as temporary hospitals, testing and vaccination centres.
“We are proud to have Francis within our team,” said Arnout de Hair, CEO of Losberger De Boer. “We are pleased that with Francis we have been able to appoint someone from our own organisation, having a strong background and a vast network in the international rental project business, to this challenging position and wish her every success in this new role.”
