Emirates Stallion Group completes work on $71mn Serbian resort
Viceroy Kopaonik will offer guests a range of outdoor and nature activities
Emirates Stallions Group, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Company, and a major engineering and construction group, has said that it has completed construction work on Viceroy Kopaonik, a $71 million resort located in the mountainous region of Kopaonik in Serbia.
Built for the modern luxury brand Viceroy Hotels and Resorts, the resort is located close to one of Serbia’s largest national parks and offers views across the nearby Kopanoik mountain, a statement said.
Emirates Stallions Group added that it had provided development consulting services for the project through its unit, Royal Development Company.
Announcing the work completion, Chairman Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri said: “We see excellent opportunities for Emirates Stallions Group and its subsidiaries to expand, where development of major projects will continue.”
“We have brought the company’s outstanding real estate development skills to the beautiful Viceroy Kopaonik in Serbia, and we look forward to more luxury development projects in the near future,” he added.
Located less than six hours flight time from the UAE, the Viceroy Kopaonik offers access to nature, cultural and food experiences, as well as a range of outdoor activities such as paragliding, water sports, hiking and snowboarding, a statement said.
With 160 snow days a year, the resort is also home to its own ski school, for beginner and experienced skiers to explore more than 55 km of nearby ski runs, said the Abu Dhabi group.
