Saudi-based developer Roshn has announced that it will begin off-plan sales of its flagship project in Riyadh by the middle of 2021, in anticipation of possible first handovers in early 2022. Roshn Riyadh is taking shape on 20m sqm near King Khalid International Airport and will feature more than 30,000 homes.
According to a report by Arab News, Roshn Riyadh is located close to the city’s main attractions, key highways and transportation links, and is the first community as part of the Saudi developer’s mandate to build communities across the Kingdom.
“Our communities are entirely inclusive, with homes to suit all tastes and budgets. Our aim is to provide a modern, aspirational living experience while giving residents the freedom to interpret what this means to them in their own unique way. The project’s first phase involves 4,000 homes that will become available for sale by the middle of this year,” said Roshn’s group CEO David Grover.
The project is said to boast contemporary homes that fuse modern design with a celebration of the capital’s rich heritage in addition to mosques, retail and F&B outlets, parks, schools and leisure and entertainment facilities.
Roshn was launched in August 2020 by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) to deliver quality residential neighbourhoods to Saudi nationals, as part of its commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goal of increasing the rate of homeownership in the country to 70%.
Grover concluded, “Roshn’s customer experience center is expected to be ready in Q1 2021, while the handover process of homes will start in early 2022. Construction is planned to be completed by Q4 2023.”
