Construction of $128m Al Taif Business Centre nearly complete says Dubai Investments
Construction works on hotel and hotel apartments on track for handover in Q2, 2021
Construction of the mixed-use $128m Al Taif Business Centre is nearly complete, Al Taif Investment has announced. The final touches on fit-out are progressing at pace and the mall works are likely to be complete later in Q1. Al Taif Investment is a JV between Dubai Investments and Fujairah Investment Establishment.
According to a statement, the project is spread across two towers of 19 floors each and comprises the mall and the office tower, and the hotel and hotel apartments tower. The project is located within Fujairah City adjacent to Hamad Bin Abdulla street, and is said to be just five minutes away from Fujairah International Airport.
Al Taif Mall is a G+2 level shopping mall spread across both the towers and is equipped with a basement and a retail area comprising 45 retail outlets. The retail component is said to include a supermarket in core and shell set-up, food outlets, restaurants with outdoor terrace facility and an additional 12 stores located in the basement, to be used by the retail tenants as secured storage area. The mall is also equipped with retail parking spaces designed to accommodate over 670 vehicles, said Dubai Investments in its statement.
“Our foray into Fujairah with our flagship project Al Taif Business Centre was strategically planned to tap into the evolving needs of the emirate. With this project, we are not only boosting and promoting the appeal of Fujairah as a retail and entertainment destination, but also contributing to be part of an ambitious program as outlined by the government, aimed at implementing strong economic and social foundations, revitalizing the emirate,” said Dubai Investments’ vice chairman and CEO Khaled Bin Kalban.
Dubai Investments said the office spaces, located from the third floor onwards up to the 19th are designed to provide spaces in core and shell set-up, providing options for tailor-made offices to suit varied requirements. The tower accommodates a total of 19 office spaces.
Construction works on the hotel and hotel apartment tower are also progressing steadily and will be ready for handover in Q2 2021, the statement concluded.
