Revealed: Middle East Consultant 2020 award winners
Judging panel saw 25 winners take home trophies at the Ritz Carlton JBR in Dubai
The sixth edition of the Middle East Consultant Awards took place on 20 January, 2021 at the Ritz Carlton JBR in Dubai.
25 winners were announced with WSP, RSP, JT+Partners, MZ Architects and Dorsch Gruppe claiming the Multi-Discipline Consulting Company of the Year, Project of the Year: Retail & Public Facilities, Project of the Year: Hospitality & Tourism, Project of the Year: Residential & Commercial, and Sustainable Project of the Year awards.
A total of 174 nominations were submitted across 25 categories by companies spread across the GCC.
According to the editorial team at Middle East Consultant, the first round of eliminations which were conducted in-house saw the number of nominations reduced to 100.
The remaining nominations were then deliberated over by a judging panel consisting of experts from the regional construction industry. This year’s judging panel included Carolina Fong Guzzy, Craig Garrett, Leanne Henderson, Nicky Dobreanu and Suhail Arfath. CPI Trade’s Jason Saundalkar and Gavin Davids served as moderators during the judging process.
