Memon Invesmtments has announced the handover of the first of its four-tower development Champions Towers will be delivered to customers Q1 2012.
Part of the international conglomerate Shaikhani Group, Memon said structure and blocking works on Champions Tower I (CTI) are now complete with work on the first floor windows and tiling works progressing “at a timely pace”.
Covering a total built-up area of 105,133 square feet, the 15-storey CTI includes 135 apartments, comprising 49 studios, 50 one-bedroom and 50 two-bedroom apartments.
Surrounding facilities include an 18-hole golf course, cricket stadium and various sports-oriented academies, rugby and football pitches and a track and field stadium; a communal swimming pool, spa and sauna, Jacuzzi, a fully equipped gymnasium and an indoor games room will also be available for residents.
Shaikhani’s new FM division Takmeel will take charge of design consultation, value engineering and project management.
“The smooth flow of construction and the fast pace of work rendered by our contractors have given us the confidence to assure our investors that we will be able to turn over Champions Tower I by early next year,” said Memon managing director Ahmed Shaikhani.
Estimate completion dates for the other three towers and the Frankfurt Sports Tower are also on track to be met.
The dates are staggered over the coming two years; CTII in December 2012, CTIII in June 2012, CTIV in December 2013 and FST in June 2013.
“We remain fully committed to our promise of on-time project delivery. In fact, our newly launched turnkey services provider arm, Takmeel, will be providing turnkey design consultation services for Champions Tower I before it gets turned over to our clients,“ Shaikhani added.
The company has said to contracting of works to specific companies has helped to meet the deadlines. Shaikhani named Stromek Emirates Foundation for completing the initial excavation and foundation work on all five projects; Al Sarh Contracting for facilitating construction work and MEP contractor Amwar Al Aqsa for management of the electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and fighting components.
