Intertek awards SATORP with ISO business certification
Saudi Aramco and TOTAL JV formally handed the certification an official award ceremony held at SATORP headquarters in Jubail
Intertek has awarded the ISO 22301:2012 certification for Business Continuity Management System to Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP).
The petrochemical joint-venture refinery between Saudi Aramco and TOTAL was formally handed the certification an official award ceremony held at SATORP headquarters in Jubail, Saudi Arabia last week.
ISO 22301 is a globally recognised international standard for Business Continuity Management System which specifies requirements to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and continually improve a management system to protect against, reduce the likelihood of occurrence, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive incidents when they arise, explained Intertek.
HSSE Manager of SATOR Hatem Al-Ahmadi said: “Achieving the certification for Business Continuity is a testament of SATORP’s strength and resilience to withstand any threats and risks. ISO 22301:2012 certification shows our pledge to all stakeholders that we will implement and maintain effective measures for continuity of our business despite COVID-19 or any other disruptive incident.
