Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of the 290-room upscale Wyndham Dubai Deira and the 94-key Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira. The latter is the first of Wyndham’s economy properties to open in the UAE.

According to a statement, both properties are in a historic area of Deira and are part of the Deira Enrichment Project. The openings are said to be part of a strategic effort by Wyndham to meet travelers’ growing demand for accommodations at varying price points across the region.

The Deira Enrichment Project is a development by Ithra Dubai, which is fully owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai. The project is a mixed-use development along the Dubai creek in the southern part of Deira. With the goal of expanding the urban fabric of the existing Deira community towards the waterfront, the project is expected to become one of the largest waterfronts and man-made developments in the world, the statement explained.

“We are delighted to add to our ever-growing portfolio, and we are proud to expand our reach within Dubai’s hospitality scene as part of this ground-breaking project. Each aspect of both Wyndham Dubai Deira and Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira have been designed with one thing in mind – guests’ comfort. Wyndham provides a cozy, yet luxurious experience and Super 8 by Wyndham, offers a premier experience at a convenient price point,” stated Thierry Perrot, Cluster general manager of Wyndham Dubai Deira and Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira.

He added, “We look forward to welcoming guests through our doors and ensuring that each guest has a quality experience and unforgettable memories. Our expert staff have been trained on safety protocols and are not only prepared to meet the needs of our guests with a warm smile and can-do attitude but, are also equipped with the ability to uphold the highest level of health standards across the venues.”

Both hotels are said to incorporate a contemporary, sleek and stylish essence and complement the district’s cultural vibrance of Deira’s Gold Souq, traditional spice market, Al Shindagha Museum, Heritage Village, and the Dubai Creek.
