Arada announces launch of new upscale Sharjah neighbourhood

Construction on the Naseej District will begin in the Q2 2021, and the first residential units will be delivered in 2023

Sharjah-based property developer Arada has announced the launch of its new creative, upscale neighbourhood – Naseej District – within its $6.5 billion megaproject located in Sharjah.

According to a statement from Arada, Naseej, which means fabric in Arabic, reflects the developer’s aspiration to weave together diverse skills, talents and backgrounds to turn the cultural district into a coherent social space for the creative community in Sharjah.

It stated that the new neighbourhood will have 16 apartment buildings designed in a contemporary style and accompanied by anchor cultural attractions. Naseej District will also be bolstered by a range of creative events that will encourage both residents and visitors to collaborate and learn.

Commenting on the launch, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, chairman of Arada, said: “The introduction of Naseej District is another step in Sharjah’s journey to embrace art and culture as a way of living. We are working to curate a thriving community that will house some of the region’s finest creative talent, while also becoming a destination for those who seek authentic and engaging cultural activities.”

“With the launch of Naseej District, we are continuing to cater to strong demand from investors and end-users who are seeking new and upscale standards for urban design, exceptional build quality and a truly transformative living experience at the heart of Aljada, Sharjah’s new address,” he stated.

Additionally, the first residential building at Naseej District has been launched for sale, the statement added. Featuring a range of studios, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments, the Tiraz buildings contain 128 units in total, which overlook open courtyards and garden spaces, Sheikh Sultan added.

“Smart home features come as standard at all Tiraz apartments, and residents can also enjoy exclusive access to a health club, two swimming pools, children’s play areas and a family barbecue space,” he stated.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, CEO of Arada, said: “We are immensely proud to launch Naseej District, a progressive community to further strengthen the art and culture space Sharjah is known for. We are looking forward to tie-up our in-house creative talent with local and international cultural institutions to co-curate art and culture programming at Naseej District.”

“The launch comes shortly after the successful sales launch of Vida Residences Aljada, which we launched in partnership with Emaar Hospitality Group in November and has received an overwhelming response,” he concluded.
