Saudi authorities announce new residential development in Riyadh
Sakani programme aims to continue launching more housing projects to meet the needs of Saudi families
Authorities in Saudi Arabia have launched a new residential development in the Twaiq district of Riyadh. Known as Jawharat Al Sahab (Jewel of the Clouds, in Arabic), the project is taking shape on more than 26,000sqm of space and features 171 homes.
According to a statement, the project will provide a modern environment in which quality of life standards are met, and which boasts integrated services and facilities.
As per authorities, the Riyadh region is witnessing the implementation of about 21 housing projects distributed throughout the capital city, to provide more than 29,000 residential units with a variety of models and designs that include villas, apartments and townhouses.
The Sakani programme will continue to deliver more housing units to Saudi families as part of its efforts to boost the percentage of Saudi household ownership to 70% in another 10 years, in accordance with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, the statement explained.
