ACT Crane & Heavy Equipment expands fleet with 16 new Demag cranes

Saudi crane services provider goes for a mix of new Demag AC 160-5, AC 300-6, AC 100-4, AC 250-5 and AC 500-8 models

Saudi crane rental company ACT Crane & Heavy Equipment, part of Arabian Consolidated Trading, has expanded its crane fleet with 16 new Demag mobile cranes.

The Saudi Arabian company, which was founded in 1986, specialises in the provision of mobile cranes and is also engaged in numerous other business areas. As part of its latest crane fleet expansion, ACT recently put four Demag AC 160-5 and two Demag AC 300-6 all-terrain cranes into operation, and these are being followed by four Demag AC 100-4, four Demag AC 250-5, and two Demag AC 500-8 units.

Wishing ACT continued success with Demag ATCs, Deepak Jain, senior sales manager, Middle East, Tadano Demag, said the only real choice when it came to expanding ACT’s fleet was more Demag cranes.
