Kuwait’s PAHW says work to begin soon on Phase One of Mutla’a City project

Kuwait’s Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) is set to start work on Phase One of its Mutla’a project in Kuwait City, it has announced.

Phase One will include road construction works and infrastructure services networks for more than 12,000 residential plots, a report in Arab Times said. Citing officials from PAHW, it added that a total of 16 governmental and private entities will meet to inspect the site in preparation for signing the initial ‘partial’ receipt of the project.

Construction work in Phase One will see the completion and maintenance of road works and infrastructural networks for 18,519 plots and power substations for the eight suburbs from N5 to N12 in the Mutla’a City Housing Project.

The scope of work includes involves construction, completion and maintenance works for roads, parking lots and infrastructural services networks – except filter tanks – for 12,177 plots, 284 sub-power stations in branch 4T and 12 power substations in 2T, the report concluded.
