Sharjah Directorate of Public Works completes suburb council buildings

Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) has announced that work on both the Al Hamriyah and Al Suyoh suburb council buildings has been completed at a cost of $3.26 million.

According to a statement by SDPW, the buildings, each extending more than 3,600sqm in area, will serve the people of both regions.

These buildings are aimed at enhancing the social bonds between people, through forums and events that bring them together in the councils, said Chairman Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi. He added that both council buildings will feature local and modern facilities.

In addition, the buildings would help to monitor the needs of the people and allow them to discuss their ideas and proposals in various fields and raise them to decision-making bodies, he concluded.
