Coronavirus: Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development to provide free COVID-19 tests
ADDED said that free clinics are available to everyone, including those who are in violation of the residency regulations
The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has said that it will set up clinics in Abu Dhabi to offer free tests for the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The move comes in line with the Abu Dhabi Government’s efforts and precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of workers and to contain the spread of the virus.
According to a statement released, ADDED said: “This free of charge service is available to everyone, including those who are in violation of the residency regulations.”
ADDED has also requested people with fever, cough, and difficulty in breathing to seek medical attention at the specialist clinics. It added that workers will be able to avail free examinations and treatment.
This step complements a series of precautionary measures to provide the highest degrees of protection to all community members and to ensure that they receive proper medical care and that they are safe and free of any diseases, it added.
