Developer is accelerating work on 479-unit residential development
Azizi Developments, the Dubai-based private developer, has announced that it has accelerated work on its Aura project in Jebal Ali, and that it is now marking the 85% construction milestone.
In a statement, the developer said that it is working with established contractors and consultants on the project, which is well on track to be completed. Aura is a 479-unit development, which comprises of 349 studios, 87 one-bedroom, and 43 two-bedroom apartments.
It is scheduled to be completed by Q2 2020, highlighting Azizi Developments commitment to timely project completion, the statement added, pointing out that Aura is one of very few freehold residential developments in the heart of JAFZA, the UAE’s flagship integrated business hub, largest matured free zone in the world and biggest port in the Middle East region.
As per the developer, the structure is now 100% complete, while the blockwork and internal plastering work is at 99% and 98% respectively. The second mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) fix is now at 93%, while façade works and tiling have both reached 90%, it added.
86% of the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) is also completed, while elevator works is also at 85%. Overall finishes are at 82%, while external works and the swimming pool are progressing rapidly.
Executive director (Engineering) Mohamed Ragheb said: “It fills us with immense pride to see this world-class 18-storey development materialise at such a fast-tracked pace. Aura is one of the many developments Azizi looks forward to handing over to our happy, valued customers this year, with two 2020 completions already under our belt and many more to come.”

Aura features a range of amenities including two swimming pools, a gym, a health club with sauna, large open spaces and recreational areas, besides a concierge service, covered parking and a podium level with over 9,000sqft of retail space.
Homes in the tower also have premium appliances and bathroom fittings, the developer said, adding that the project has been designed with ample lighting and space for a modern lifestyle. It is located near the UAE Exchange Metro Station and has easy access to Sheikh Zayed Road, it concluded.
