Etisalat targeting SME construction companies
Etisalat has unveiled a new set of business packages that will enable SME-sized construction companies to save on capital expenditure.

Etisalat has unveiled a new set of business packages that will enable SME-sized construction companies to save on capital expenditure.
One of the leading telecom operators in the Middle East and Africa, Etisalat says it is accelerating its focus towards the SME sector in the UAE.
The Business Ultimate plans are designed to offer businesses better network coverage, calling and messaging. The SME sector makes up 60% of the UAE’s GDP and Etisalat said that it was hoping its new mobile plans would be targeted for all qualifying companies.
SMEs currently represent a significant part of the business community in UAE, explained John Lincoln, SVP, Business Marketing.
“The top priorities for SME customers is to lower capital expenses, economise international calling and also avail latest devices to increase productivity,” said Lincoln. “Etisalat has always strived to provide best-in-class solutions offering value to their business at the same time meeting their dynamic demands and requirements.”
“These users do not have to compromise on quality, after sales service and support to get better value from their money,” added Abdulla Ebrahim Al Ahmed, SVP, Business Solutions. “The packages are transparent providing these users offerings which are required for the long term growth of the organisation.”
There are four bundled packages offered at AED99, AED199, AED399 and AED999. All the bundles comprise of local and international calls, SMSs, local data and smartphones at zero upfront costs. The latest Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE, BlackBerry Q10 and iPhone 5 are offered exclusively with this plan for the first month.
The basic business ultimate package for AED99 comprises of 130 minutes of local and international calls each, 130 SMSs and 130MB of local data. International calling add-ons are at rates are as low as 50 fils per minute (on a per second billing basis). Users can also benefit from per second billing on both local and international calls in the package.
Customers can also choose from multiple add-on options based on their usage patterns that is at AED60 (1GB), AED149 (5GB) and AED219 (12GB). These add-ons are essential today especially where mobile data volumes are becoming an integral part of business needs.
