Coronavirus: Azizi rolls out additional preventative measures

Developer says it first began taking preventative measures in February

Azizi Developments says it has implemented preventative measures across its offices, sales gallery and project sites in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Through its community management provider VCM, the developer says it is taking a number of steps in line with healthcare measures undertaken by the government and recommendations from local and international health authorities.

As per a statement, its ongoing digital transformation is enabling it to maintain its operational efficiency and excellence, while taking precautionary measures that meet and go beyond circulated advisories.

For its home office and teleworking policy implementation, the developer states it has provided its employees with the necessary tools and systems that allow them to work remotely. Staff are given access to all of the firm’s applications and servers, allowing business to be conducted as usual, the developer said.

In addition, it said that it has rolled out a video calling platform that allows customers to get in touch via an audio-visual conference module. Through this tool, property seekers can get all the information they require in their home purchase-decision making processes in a safe and comfortable manner, the statement explained.

The video calling platform is also being used by customer service to communicate directly with clients, allowing for transparent, immediate, worry-free, seamless and comprehensive interactions and continuous communication at the customer’s convenience, the developer stated.

The statement explained that the developer’s preventative efforts began in February when it installed hand sanitising stations and commenced regular disinfection of its offices and communities, disseminated DHA-validated, educational information on how to practice proper hygiene to all of its stakeholders, and began imposing minimal contact and self-quarantining policies. In response to the quickly evolving situation, Azizi said it then implemented a company-wide teleworking policy. The developer is now looking at further ways to combat the spread of COVID-19.

“This is an important and decisive year for us and the real estate sector as a whole. It is crucial for us to go above and beyond when it comes to implementing preventative measures, all while ensuring the continuity and efficiency of our operations and ongoing projects,” remarked its CEO Farhad Azizi.

Azizi Developments recently launched its “#StayHome while we build your future’ campaign. The developer said the campaign aims to raise awareness of the #StayHome initiative, while highlighting its commitment to the health and well-being of its stakeholders.

“Construction work was progressing very swiftly, and home seekers now have more time than ever before to properly inform themselves of all the property investment opportunities that Dubai has to offer. With the support of health authorities, the private and public sectors, and society as a whole, we will overcome this unsettling start of the year and emerge as an even stronger, more organised and focused civilisation. We may be isolated at home, but we are in this together,” stated Azizi.
