Engie Solutions has secured major contracts to provide facilities management (FM) services to the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) and International Maritime Industries (IMI). As per the terms of the contracts, the firm will deliver its services using computer-aided facilities management (CAFM).

Backed by global expertise, Engie Solutions is ideally positioned to enable this transition, and we look forward to adding value to Spark and IMI’s projects as a result of our partnership,” said Nicholas Powell, GM of Engie Solutions (Saudi Arabia).

The company will also manage future costing and lifecycle of the project, providing real-time information to IMI concerning assets, work orders, and the performance of sub-contractors, the statement said.

Engie (Saudi Arabia) CEO Turki AlShehr added, “We are setting standards across the globe as a provider of bespoke facilities management services, which incorporate cutting edge technologies to deliver real results. The new partnerships with Spark and IMI represent a significant step in further establishing Engie Group’s presence in Saudi Arabia.”

Spark’s President & CEO Saif Al Qahtani stated that the upcoming energy park is set to distinguish itself as a leading global energy, industrial, and technology hub; cementing Saudi Arabia’s positioning on the international markets as a progressive innovator in these fields.

“At maturity, it will be home to over 300 industrial, technology, and service facilities focused on the energy sector,” explained Al Qahtani.
