GFH Properties signs deals with international brands for Harbour Row project

14,000sqm of retail space expected to open to visitors in Q3, 2020

GFH Properties has announced that it has inked deals with several international brands, the result of which will be the establishment of franchises at the developer’s Harbour Row waterfront project in Manama, Bahrain.

The deal will see international restaurants serve customers in 14,000sqm of retail space, which is expected to open to visitors in Q3, 2020. Fit-out works are progressing at pace along with other works across the development, said GFH Properties.

According to a statement, Harbour Row’s retail area will comprise a diverse group of world-class outlets including international food and beverage (F&B) franchises and global retail brands. It is expected to become one of Manama’s most vibrant retail and commercial areas, the developer stated.

“This is another exciting milestone for Harbour Row and the development of another exciting and vibrant retail and commercial centre in the heart of Manama and the Bahrain Financial Harbour,” said Shaikh Hamed Al Khalifa, CEO of GFH Properties.

The Harbour Row residential area is said to boast over 300 luxury apartments split between the development’s East and West Side in addition two five-star hotels. GFH Properties recently announced agreements that will see the establishment of a 106-room luxury hotel and residences to be managed by H Hotels, as well as the opening of a 160-room Accor boutique hotel – Mama Shelter.
