Avani Ibn Battuta hotel given its formal opening in Dubai
Brand has a pipeline of new properties under development in destinations such as the Maldives and Oman
Avani Hotels & Resorts has launched its first new-build hotel in the Middle East. The Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai is located adjacent to Ibn Battuta Mall, Ibn Battuta Metro Link and is in close proximity to the site for Expo 2020 Dubai.
The 18-storey hotel is billed as a ‘welcome oasis’ and is said to offer multiple accommodation options and a terrace with a resort-style swimming pool, cabanas and poolside dining. The hotel is also said to boast three dining outlets offering a variety of food options.
According to a statement, the Avani Hotels & Resorts brand was launched in response to a growing global group of discerning world travelers whose priorities are style and value. It is positioned as a contemporary, upbeat brand that delivers the perfect balance of sleep, space, sustenance and service.
The Avani experience is said to place emphasis on contemporary and functional features, carefully considered social spaces and genuine hospitality. The focus is on the details that matter, ensuring guests feel welcome and taken care of in go-to global destinations, from city hotels to beach resorts, the statement said.
Avani Hotels & Resorts currently operates 31 properties in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, most recently debuting in Cambodia and South Korea, in addition to Krabi in southern Thailand, the eighth Avani in the country.
