Arada inks deal with retail brands to set up outlets in Nasma Central

Apart from serving the population of Nasma Residences, the complex will also support Al Tay and Al Seyouh communities

Spinneys and Starbucks outlets will take up residence in Nasma Central, the community and retail complex within developer Arada’s Nasma Residences development in Sharjah. The Spinneys store is to occupy 10,170sqft and will be Sharjah’s fourth Spinneys store, while the Starbucks store will occupy 1,185sqft and will feature a drive-through facility.

Nasma Central is to feature 44,000sqft of leasable space and is said to overlook a 13-acre park. It also features a Bright Education pre-school, a Health First pharmacy and an Emco Express laundry. The site will also feature the Arada Gym and Clubhouse, an 8,600sqft centre for health and wellness that will include a swimming pool.

As per a statement from Arada, Bright Education is a Dubai-based K-12 school and pre-school operator, with a portfolio of assets across the UAE. The pre-school in Nasma Central will be a British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) facility, located in a 6,580sqft standalone building, with 5,845sqft of secure and private outdoor space.

“One of our aims is to continuously increase the value of the homes in our projects, whether that is by introducing smart and sustainable business practices, increasing community offerings, or partnering with top-tier brands. We are delighted to welcome each of the new tenants in Nasma Central and look forward to working with them to deliver a beautiful new community space for Sharjah,” said HE Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, chairman of Arada.

The contract to build Nasma Central was awarded to Intermass Engineering and Contracting – the company is already working on the first four residential phases of Nasma Residences. The contractor began work in December, and the complex is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of this year, the statement said.
