Eagle Hills Ethiopia announces first tower in ‘La Gare’ mixed-use development

La Gare is being developed on the former site of Addis Ababa’s main railway station

The first residential tower has been launched in Eagle Hills Ethiopia’s La Gare, which is located in in Addis Ababa. ‘ONE La Gare’ will stand at 21 storeys tall and will house 187 residences, the developer said.

The building’s units will offer between one- to four-bedrooms. The developer notes that the tower will feature 24-hour security, resident parking at the podium level and an expansive lobby.

The mixed-use development is being developed by a joint venture between Eagle Hills Ethiopia and the City Government of Addis Ababa. The 360,000sqm development will create a new dynamic downtown in Addis Ababa, with more than 4,000 residential units, alongside a unique lifestyle, hospitality, retail, commercial and leisure offering, the statement said.
