ISG appoints new UAE construction director

Chadwick has worked as a project director with ISG since 2017 and moved to the UAE in 2019

ISG has appointed Jake Chadwick as its new UAE construction director. He takes the reigns from Stephen Martin who, following a long tenure in the region, is moving to the UK as operation’s director for ISG’s business in Scotland.

In his new role Chadwick will lead the delivery teams, working across the company’s project portfolio in technology, corporate office, education, leisure, hospitality and healthcare sectors. He will be tasked with maintaining and advancing the company’s market leading health and safety track record.

“It is exciting to start the New Year with this announcement and Jake’s richly-deserved promotion to the position of construction director. Jake has made a strong impact on the business since he transferred from the UK last year, proving instrumental in building innovative and high-performing project teams, nurturing a culture of collaboration and importantly, prioritising and strengthening relationships with our customers,” said Scott McCulloch, general manager, ISG Middle East.

The role also includes the deployment of new and innovative construction technologies in the UAE to enhance operational efficiencies, with an absolute focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences, a statement from the firm said.

McCulloch added, “I would like to thank Stephen for the pivotal role he played in building ISG’s reputation as a trusted and delivery-focused construction company and I look forward to working closely with Jake across a diverse range of significant projects and initiatives in 2020.”

Chadwick commented, “I intend to build on Stephen’s outstanding legacy, which has seen the creation of highly motivated teams, backed with the core infrastructure to operate efficiently and ensure the delivery of increasingly complex projects. My vision is to harness our teams’ considerable strengths, utilise our strong values and differentiators to drive and sustain solid and consistent performance. The wealth of talent and expertise in the team really marks ISG out as one of the most influential contractors in the region and I’m relishing the opportunity to further develop our customer base in the UAE.”

Chadwick has worked as a project director with ISG since 2017. He moved to the UAE in 2019 and is said to have delivered numerous high-profile projects for the construction company in both countries.
