Reed Smith expanding as it heads to new offices in DIFC
Relocation reflects law firm’s continued growth in the Middle East, says Reed Smith
Reed Smith says the relocation of its Dubai offices to a prominent space in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) reflects the firm’s continued commitment to strengthen its Middle East presence.
The law firm added that the new premises will accommodate its growing team of diverse legal practitioners.
Sachin Kerur, Michelle Nelson and Shourav Lahiri all joined Reed Smith in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in July 2018. More recently, partners Mahmoud Awad, and Amir Ahmad were hired to increase the firm’s commercial disputes and financing capabilities.
The full-service law firm says it has also seen, “an increased demand predominantly for projects and construction services in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and recently hired Rachel Larkin as new construction legal director. Rachel joins the team, previously working as senior legal counsel within a well-known family owned conglomerate based in Dubai.”
The expansion of the team has led to the need for a newer and larger workspace, resulting in an office move to Index Tower, one of the most prominent office addresses in the heart of the (DIFC).
