Arada launches ‘The Boulevard’ residential community at Aljada
Aljada megaproject is proceeding at pace with first homes scheduled for handover in Q1 2020, developer says
Developer Arada has launched ‘The Boulevard’ residential community within its Aljada megaproject in Sharjah. Construction of this community is expected to begin next year and the developer says it expects to handover the first homes by the end of 2022.
The Boulevard features around 600 units split between one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and are targeted at singles, young couples and families. The complex will include a health club and a shared swimming pool, as well as cafes and retail outlets at ground-floor level, Arada says.
According to a statement, the community is located at the edge of the East Village district of the city. It comprises three apartment blocks that are surrounded by amenities and green landscaping. The nine-storey blocks are located next to Aljada’s main avenue.
“We’ve been extremely pleased with the investor and end-user interest we have received in East Village, which is now 85% sold out. The Boulevard represents one of the last opportunities to buy homes in this modern and progressive district. Located close to the Central Hub, a new entertainment and leisure district for the UAE, as well as Aljada’s upcoming business park, we are confident that The Boulevard’s impressive design and amenities will be appreciated by its future residents,” said HE Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, chairman of Arada.
The Boulevard will be officially launched at Cityscape Global, which takes place between 25-27 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Commenting on construction works at Aljada, the developer states that the first homes are scheduled for handover in the first quarter of 2020. The first phase of the Central Hub, which has been designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, will be opened in the fourth quarter of this year.
