Bristol fires up new manufacturing plant in Abu Dhabi

Manufacturing plant will create forty five new jobs, Bristol Fire says

Bristol Fire announced the establishment of a new 30,000m2 manufacturing plant in Abu Dhabi yesterday. The plant has created forty five new jobs.

The announcement was made during Intersec, held at Dubai Convention and Exhibition centre. The new plant will fit out vehicles to create world class ambulances and fire fighting trucks. The company has a partnership with leading German manufacturer Ziegler and two of their vehicles featured on the Bristol fire stand.

The multi-million dollar investment in Abu Dhabi reflects the need for world class vehicles manufactured in the region. Farid Ismail, Business Unit Manager of parent company Concorde-Cordex Group said: “We are looking forward to position Bristol Fire Engineering as a leading manufacturer and provider of world class firefighting equipment. We are already winning significant orders for fire fighting vehicles and ambulances and see further expansion in the next year.”

Each unit is specifically designed and built for the client’s own requirement and specifications, complete with all equipment, accessories and rescue tools. The units can be fitted on any suitable chassis of the client’s choice, with different extinguishing agents.

Intersec is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
