Bloom Properties, the Abu Dhabi-based developer for residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, has commenced the handover of residential units at its Soho Square development on Saadiyat Island.
Situated in close proximity to New York University Abu Dhabi, the development features 304 upscale residences, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, duplex apartments and a penthouse. It also offers residents community facilities such as a swimming pool, a children’s play area, a fitness centre and a medical clinic.
Inspired by the Soho District in New York City, the development aims to create public living areas filled with cafes and public art spaces, so as to encourage a ‘highly social and interactive living experience’, the developer said in a statement. The project will also house a range of restaurants and retail outlets.
“The handover of Soho Square demonstrates our commitment to delivering high quality residential communities in desirable locations. We have witnessed a high demand for quality urban housing with high-end amenities, and this mixed-use project caters to both homeowners and investors due to its prime location and attractive rental yields,” said Jeremy Lester, acting CEO of Bloom Holding.
Soho Square is the second development by Bloom Properties on Saadiyat Island. It has recently commenced the handover of 207 units to homeowners and investors at its Park View development.
Both Park View and Soho Square are close to Saadiyat’s major tourist attractions, such as Louvre Abu Dhabi, as well as hotels, golf courses and beaches.
