Dubai’s wasl Properties has announced that construction on the Warsan residential project is well underway, with 60 per cent of the work completed, and delivery scheduled for Q2 2020, ahead of time for Expo 2020 Dubai.
wasl Asset Management Group, announced the project in June 2017, as part of the company’s preparations for Expo 2020 Dubai to provide accommodation for hospitality staff.
According to a statement from the company, which is a subsidiary of wasl Asset Management group, it revealed that 95 per cent of the infrastructure work and all structural works are completed while mechanical, electrical and sanitary works are still underway.
Spread over a built-up area of 200,000 sqm., the Warsan project comprises of 35 buildings in a community-style layout, when completed, will provide 3,866 residential units, 3,380 shared units, 360 studio units, and 126 one-bedroom apartments.
Commenting on the project, Hesham Al Qassim, CEO of wasl Asset Management Group, said: “We launched our Warsan project as part of our strategic preparations to deliver much-needed accommodation for the hospitality sector’s staff in the build-up to Expo 2020.”
“The objectives of Warsan are in line with our leadership’s vision of making Dubai the best global city to live, visit and work,” he concluded.
