Philadelphia Solar completes solar PV project at Abdali Medical Center in Jordan
Project comprises 25,090 Philadelphia Solar polycrystalline panels and Philadelphia Solar mounting structure solutions
Philadelphia Solar has completed what is billed as the world’s largest hospital solar PV installation at the Abdali Medical Center in Amman, Jordan. The turnkey solution provider says that the project will generate a reliable source of clean electricity, covering consumption needs and enabling the centre to better serve its patients.
Abdali Medical Center is a 200-bed multi-specialty hospital with a mandate to provide the best practice patient-centered care and promote research and education.
The system consists of 25,090 Philadelphia Solar polycrystalline panels of 325Wp each and Philadelphia Solar mounting structure solutions. According to a statement, the system has a capacity of 8.2MWp, which Philadelphia Solar says is considered to be the largest PV system installed for a single medical centre in the world.
Philadelphia Solar offers several products and solutions and says that it is the first photovoltaic (PV) panel manufacturer in the MENA region, with an annual PV production capacity of 500 MWp.
