First Bahrain, Alghanah group inks deal for Bahrain retail project
Retail space of 7,340sqm and is designed to serve the surrounding residential area with a mix of F&B outlets, entertainment, and retail shops
First Bahrain Real Estate Development Company (First Bahrain) has announced, it has appointed Alghanah Group for the construction of its upcoming retail project in Bahrain.
Project construction has already begun with completion scheduled for Q3 2020.
According to First Bahrain, the new development is the first phase of a project which will feature over 7,340 sqm. of retail space, with a mix of food and beverage outlets, entertainment, and retail shops.
The new project will be built on 10,590 sqm. of land, which will offer a mix of experiences such as drive-up and drive-thru outlets as well as terraced views and outdoor seating, the company said.
Alghanah Group managing director Mohamed Alghanah said: “We are very happy to be partnering with First Bahrain on its new project in Seef. Our team has already started construction on site, and we are quite pleased with the progress.”
“Our approach will deliver a unique project with services that will hopefully complement the area,” he added.
Meanwhile, Omar Altemiemy, CEO of First Bahrain said that Alghanah Group was chosen due to its diverse portfolio of projects and their reliability to implement First Bahrain’s vision.
“This signature project in a high traffic location is key to our reputation so we needed a contractor with whom we could rely upon to implement our vision. We are certain they are the perfect partners to bring this project to life,” Altemiemy explained.
Located along Road 2819, in between a group of new residential towers, the project will provide up to 38 units ranging in size from 27 to 213 sqm. of leasable area and enquiries for lease have already begun, First Bahrain added.
