Nakheel says construction of ‘The View at The Palm’ attraction nearly complete

Nakheel has announced that it is developing a new attraction at the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, and notes that construction is nearing completion.

‘The View at The Palm’ is a 240m observation deck that sits on top of The Palm Tower and will also be accessible from the nearby Nakheel Mall.

According to a statement from the developer, the observatory will offer uninterrupted views of The Palm, the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline. It will feature an interactive museum which the developer says will reveal the story behind the making of the island.

The developer notes that the observation deck will be perched on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower, at the centre of the island. The observation deck will feature a VIP lounge and areas for private events, the developer signed a signed a fit-out contract for the project last month.

“The View at The Palm will combine awe-inspiring, breath-taking views with an interactive, educational experience about the creation of the iconic Palm Jumeirah. This stunning new attraction – the only location in Dubai offering this unique experience – will be a magnet for residents and tourists,” said Omar Khoory, MD of Nakheel Malls.

The Palm Tower features a St. Regis hotel and luxury residences and boasts a rooftop infinity pool and restaurant underneath the viewing deck. The tower is directly connected to Nakheel Mall, which is also due to open later this year. Nakheel Mall will have 350 shops, restaurants and attractions and its own Palm Monorail station.
