Smart Automation Energy (SmartAE) has signed an energy performance contract for the Burj Al Muhaned Energy Efficiency Retrofit Project, represented by the Al Mudeer Owner Association Management. The agreement was signed at the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) headquarters in Al Khan.
The signing ceremony was attended by Engineer Afra Al Owais, the chief efficienology officer of SEWA, Feras Al Helo, GM of Al Mudeer OAM, Issa Azar, CEO of SmartAE and Abdallah Mahmoud, commercial director of SmartAE. Other senior executives were also in attendance.

During the ceremony, Al Owais presented SEWA’s vision, achievements and its energy programmes for the emirate to reach its 2020 Vision, promoting clean energy and highlighting Sharjah as the ‘City of Conservation’. SmartAE’s Azar then shared his firm’s plans for expansion into Sharjah and said that his firm is committed to supporting SEWA’s vision of reducing energy costs and consumption, as well as ensuring effective awareness campaigns.
