D-Marin Dubai begins management of Al Seef, Marasi and Jaddaf marinas
Joint venture (JV) firm D-Marin Dubai has announced that it has begun management operations of the Al Seef, Marasi and Jaddaf Waterfront marinas in Dubai. The move is said to be part of a long-term goal to turn Dubai into an ‘international destination of preference for luxury yacht owners’.
The JV comprises Meraas, Dubai Holding and international marina chain operator D-Marin. It was established at the end of 2018 to meet the growing demand for the development and management of marinas in the Gulf region, and to create a regional maritime hub in Dubai, the statement said.
As per the terms of the deal, D-Marin Dubai will provide marina management services to Al Seef, Marasi and Jaddaf Waterfront marinas, as well as deliver technical consultancy to Meraas’ projects at Port de La Mer and Dubai Harbor. It will also offer the same services at the Marsa Al Arab marinas.
Additionally, D-Marin Dubai says it will manage and operate future marinas being developed by Meraas and Dubai Holding, as well by third parties. The JV company is expected to manage and operate more than 1,600 berths.
The JV is said to have enabled D-Marin to expand its network and reach to 14 marinas in five countries.
