GAJ releases plans for new Saudi Arabian ISG School campus
New ISG school campus will be “premier educational facility of its type” in the Eastern Province of KSA
Godwin Austen Johnson (GAJ) says its state-of-the-art design for the new International Schools Group (ISG) campus in the Saudi Arabian city of Khobar has been drafted to meet the “evolving needs” of the 21st century learner.
GAJ was appointed by developer Rashed Al Rashed on behalf of ISG in 2018 to create the plans for a new campus in the “up-and-coming” neighbourhood of Aziziyah.
The campus is located within the Canary Vista residential compound to the west of central Khobar and will accommodate both American and British curricula “within an interconnected series of buildings and shared facilities and will cater to a total of approximately 2,500 students.”
“The schools have been designed to incorporate the latest aspects of modern-day design while ensuring that they will be fit for purpose for everyday use as a modern educational facility,” said Jason Burnside, partner, GAJ. ”Once constructed, the new ISG school campus will be the premier educational facility of its type in the Eastern Province of KSA.”
