Arabtec Construction wins $56mn Villanova contract

Follows Dubai Properties awarding firm $60mn contract for 352 villas at Villanova project

Arabtec Holding has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Arabtec Construction has been awarded a $56.3 million contract by Dubai Properties. The contract is for the construction of 322 villas at Dubai Properties’ Amaranta project in Villanova, Dubailand.

The contract works will commence immediately for a duration of 20 months, said the company in a statement. It also added that the façade design for the townhouses were inspired by contemporary Mediterranean architecture which will allow for spacious units. The villas will also have elegantly finished interiors and bright natural colours to compliment a relaxed lifestyle.

Furthermore, Arabtec Construction was previously awarded a $60 million contract by Dubai Properties in December 2018 for the construction of 352 villas for the same project.

Peter Pollard, acting group CEO, said: “The award to Arabtec Construction of our sixth phase at the Villanova development strengthens our longstanding relationship with Dubai Properties and further builds on our portfolio of projects and reputation for delivering high quality residential villas.”

Villanova by Dubai properties is a residential community in Dubailand, located at the intersection of Dubai – Al Ain Road and Emirates Road.
