Investments in the Saudi Arabia construction sector are expected to reach SAR 300 billion ($80 billion) by 2015, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.
Speaking at the launch of its Riyadh branch, The Future Mechanical Establishment director general Zaher Moussa said that SAR 200 billion ($53 billion) is currently invested in the construction sector in Saudi Arabia, with 120,000 contractors comprising more than 1.2 million workers stationed there.
Deputy secretary general of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh, Hamad bin Saleh Al-Humaidan said in a press statement following the ceremony that the chamber encouraged national projects and investors in all activities in the service of the homeland and citizens
