Meraas unveils Dubai’s own 230,000 sqm Central Park
The development consists of 12 residential buildings overlooking a private park
Meraas has unveiled Dubai’s very own Central Park at City Walk, an exclusive residential neighbourhood surrounding a 40,000 sqm private park spanning a total area of 230,000 sqm.
The residential neighbourhood will include 12-terraced mid-rise residential buildings comprising of 187 one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units that is said to ‘redefine community living in the emirate’, Meraas said.
The upcoming community will also be creating ‘imaginative ways of experiencing city life that inspires an active lifestyle for residents and visitors in sustainably-minded destinations’, the developer added. It comes with a variety of active lifestyle amenities, including tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools, spas, cafes and a multi-purpose kids play area, according to a press-release from Meraas.
It said that all the units will have a sleek contemporary design with light colours and high-end materials that blend with the natural environment as well as plants and flowers. The main entrance will have a lobby with concierge services and the buildings will have two large rooftop terraces with a variety of flora.
Central Park is located just two minutes from City Walk’s retail complex and a 10-minute drive from Jumeirah beach and a 15-minute drive from Burj Al Arab and Dubai International Airport, with convenient transport links including the Dubai Metro and bus station. Meraas said its park would be car-free as well as be pedestrian-friendly for families seeking an environmentally-friendly residential neighbourhood.
