Magna Tyres introduces new skid-steer loader tyres
M-SKID2 and M-SKID4 models offer high load-bearing performance and toughness
Dutch off-highway tyres specialist Magna Tyres has introduced its latest range of tyres for skid-steer loaders, the new Magna M-SKID2 and M-SKID4.
According to Magna Tyres, the M-SKID2 has reinforced sidewalls and nylon casing, which ensure several improvements in performance, including more stability and a longer lifespan of the tyre. Thanks to the technical improvements on the sidewalls, the tyre also allows for more load bearing performance and can handle a single load of up to 4,565kg with a pressure of 4.85 bar. The M-SKID2 will be available in seven sizes: 5.70-12, 23X8.50-12, 27X8.50-15, 10-16.5, 12-16.5, 14-17.5 and 15-19.5.
The M-SKID4 has been designed keeping in mind skid-steer loaders that have to perform in tough conditions. Due to its special casing, which contains nylon, the tyre outperforms all other equivalent models in the market, according to Magna’s statement, which adds that when it comes to performance criteria such fuel consumption and price per hour, the M-SKID4 scores high. The tyre also has improved loading capacity, enabling skid-steer loaders to carry significantly heavier weights when fitted out with the new M-SKID4. The tyre is available in a mixture of sizes.
