Belarus unveils forest-themed pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai
Themed ‘forest of the future technology’, it will be located in the Opportunity Thematic District
The Belarus pavilion for the Expo 2020 Dubai has been unveiled with its theme about combining nature and innovation to bring the look, feel and smell of the country’s primitive forests to the UAE.
The pavilion will be located in the Expo 2020 Dubai’s Opportunity Thematic District and is called ‘forest of future technology’.
Inspired by Belarus’s lush forests and rich natural resources, the pavilion will demonstrate how collective growth leads to fresh opportunity, the Expo 2020 website stated.
The Belarus pavilion is said to bring to life the idea that tress in a forest grow stronger and live longer when they stand together, and by focusing on investment and creativity, the pavilion will reveal the way to a sustainable and innovative future. Furthermore, the country will use this venue to highlight how collective growth will lead to fresh opportunity, according to the website.
The entrance to the pavilion will have illuminated green shoots sprouting at its main entrance and the structure is designed to resemble a self-sufficient living organism, the statement said. Inside, the pavilion will present innovative solutions to global problems and new paths for individual expression and fresh ideas for collective missions, it added.
Belarus is an Eastern Europe country and latest to reveal its design and theme for the Expo 2020 Dubai, other countries that have recently revealed their pavilion designs are Thailand, Sweden, Brazil, Netherlands and Japan.
