Cast Construction awarded $40.7mn contract for Danube’s Jewelz project

UAE-based developer, Danube Properties has awarded a $40.6 million contract to Dubai-based contractor, Cast Construction for its residential development Jewelz, located at Arjan.

Cast Construction will undertake the main construction work for the $81.7 million project launched in March 2018, which once completed will offer 463 residential units, ranging from studio, one and two-bedroom apartment, and a private entrance to the property.

Rizwan Sajan, founder and group chairman at Danube group, said: “As a developer, we remain committed to the Dubai real estate market. He stated that the company is determined to deliver all their projects to the customers on time and that awarding the main contract within seven months of the launch of the project reflects their strong commitment to customers.

He also added that Danube usually starts tendering for the construction of the project, before launching the next project.

According to the statement from the developer, the building design and architectural aesthetic was created to reinforce the design strategy of Danube, which helps maximise the living space while delivering convenience of community living. The project dedicates 50% space to open areas with an emphasis on greenery and landscapes, it added.

The amenities at the development include a health club, swimming pool, steam and sauna room, multi-purpose hall, jogging track, barbecue deck, badminton court, paddle-tennis court, and a high-tech surveillance system.
