Saudi Arabia all set for the Saudi Build 2018
The Saudi Build 2018 is an international construction technology and building materials exhibition held at the Riyadh International Conference and Exhibition Center and will open in two weeks.
The 30th edition of the event is sponsored by The Saudi Export Development Authority, which is seeking to strengthen Saudi’s non-oil exports in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. The event will see 512 exhibitors from 32 countries and more than 15000 visitors are expected to participate.
According to the organiser, the Riyadh Exhibitions Company, the event will bring together local and international experts, decision makers and leaders to discuss emerging investment opportunities arising from the government’s $3.5 billion allocation for the construction of roads and bridges this year.
“The Saudi Build 2018 is taking place amid increased construction activities, especially in the industrial and commercial sectors, in the local market in keeping with the goals of the National Transformation Program 2020 and Saudi Vision 2030,” said Mohammad Al Sheikh, the head of marketing at Riyadh Exhibition Company.
Sheikh added that: “The value of Saudi Arabia’s current construction projects has surged to $284.3 billion and now Saudi Arabia accounts for 45 percent of the total construction industry in the Middle East”.
The Saudi Build 2018 is held together with the Saudi Stone Tech 2018 and the Saud PMV Series 2018. These events are combined to give visitors an outlook into the latest innovations and developments in the construction sector.
