Aabar and Rezidor to build Dubai hotel
Belgian hotel management firm says 300 room hotel will open in 2015
The Belgium head-quartered hotel management firm, Rezidor Hotel Group, has entered into a partnership with Aabar Investments to build a new hotel in Dubai, it was announced earlier this week.
The Park Inn by Radisson Dubai Al Jadaf will feature 300 guest rooms and is scheduled to welcome its first guest by 2015.
The hotel will also offer two restaurants, one lobby-lounge, one bar, a fitness centre and around 400m2 of meeting space.
The property will be part of a new development that will comprise two further hotels of a more upscale and luxury positioning, catering for different market segments.
“The UAE continues its economic growth and therefore is an important development market for Rezidor,” the company said in a statement.
“The group’s current portfolio comprises nine hotels with 2,550 rooms in operation, and the company aims to further strengthen its presence and further contribute to the success of the tourism industry within the country,” it added.
